【概要】

  • カンザスシティ心筋症質問票（KCCQ）は、心不全患者の健康状態や生活の質（QOL）を評価するのみならず、FDAの医療機器開発ツール（MDDT）として認定されています。また、診療の費用対効果を測る医療経済的側面としても重要視されています。
  • 一方、日本のような超高齢化社会で重要とされる予後の指標は、死亡ではなくQOLと言われているものの、QOLを測るKCCQの普及は日本では進んでいません。
  • そこで、今後は、榊原記念病院からの心不全のQOL評価のための普及活動を通じ、榊原記念病院とNeuspectiveで共同開発した本アプリを用いて、全国の病院の心不全QOLスコアを把握していくことを目指します。

Neuspective and Sakakibara Heart Institute Jointly Develop a QOL Evaluation App for Heart Failureuspective

Neuspective Inc. By answering 19 questions, users can measure the Overall Summary Score (OSS) and Clinical Summary Score (CSS).
*Usage is free of charge, and PC is recommended. You can try it using any arbitrary number as the patient ID. Additionally, the use of KCCQ requires a licensing fee payment to CV Outcomes.

[Abstract]

  • The Kansas City Cardiomyopathy Questionnaire (KCCQ) not only evaluates the health status and quality of life (QOL) of heart failure patients but is also recognized by the FDA as a Medical Device Development Tool (MDDT). Additionally, it is considered important from a health economics perspective in assessing the cost-effectiveness of medical treatments.
  • In super-aging societies like Japan, prognosis indicators are shifting from mortality rates to QOL. However, despite its significance, the use of KCCQ for QOL assessment has not yet become widespread in Japan.
  • To address this, Sakakibara Heart Institute and Neuspective aim to promote the adoption of KCCQ-based QOL assessments for heart failure through awareness initiatives led by Sakakibara Heart Institute. By utilizing the jointly developed app, they plan to assess heart failure QOL scores in hospitals nationwide.
